The Overview
Week 14 of the OutSeason and after a few days of just being aerobic and taking a slight down cycle, I feel a bit more human. 100%? Not yet. But certainly getting better in terms of work.

I got in a nice long run and my bike workouts were pretty much spot on: watts are better and I was able to log more time per session. Of course, I have a half marathon this upcoming weekend (Hyannis anyone?) so I am supposed to taper. Given the last two weeks of lighter training, I might just treat this as a regular week and see where it goes.

For all of you asking about the kids and my sleep, they are still getting up early. I just have to start working out earlier instead of doing work. Thanks for caring!

Body Comp Update: Hopped on the scale for the first time in a week, and admittedly after a binge day, but ouch! Back up over 180! Time go get back on track. Guess I can lean out with focus, but it’s just not a natural state (yet).

The Workouts

Monday — Run on cape, 5.25 miles as 7:24s out, 6:18s back.

Tuesday — 2×20 becomes 2×10 b/c kids won’t sleep. .95 for 30′ then 1800 in the pool.

Wednesday — Wednesday long run of 11 miles at .88, including 3 miles at 6:18 pace. Love running in the just-done snow!

Thursday — Trainer as 2×12 @ 336 and 332 then 15′ at .85, total of .921 for 52 mins o’ fun. Great to get a full ride in!

Friday — 5.5 mile run with 3x1mile. Too icy to be speedy! :(

Saturday — Trainer as 6×2′ at 380W then 40′ at .85 for 73′, 98TSS and an IF of .896 over 26 miles

Sunday — 6 mile run at 6:47 pace, nice and loose!

Stats Summary for the Week

Weight: 182… not good.

FTP: 330 on a good day. Hoping to have more good days. :)

vDOT: 55.

CTL: 61.4 TSS/day (previous week was 61 TSS/day), so pretty much even-steven.

TSB: -2.1 TSB (prev as -15). Sitting even on a steady CTL won’t do much for the TSB. I will need to refocus for this next week (or hope Emma comes around) so I can put in some more steady bikes. 30′ of work is good enough, but not great. Hope you are doing a little better than me!
